Like so many others you want go LIVE. But, you sit there in front of your laptop with sweaty armpits… You are pondering: Do you have something to say? Should you hit the „go live“ button, or would it be better to work on your concept again? What will your colleagues, friends, family, and clients say? What if you lose your thoughts and stumble around? And, what if nobody is showing up as an audience?
And here it is: a spot on your shirt that would look ugly on video, the incoming phone call from a colleague, your kids shouting in the other room. So it is “clearly” impossible 👎 to go live right now…
So often, the 💡idea to go live gets procrastinated, rescheduled, and it never happens. Our expectations are high: Others seem to be so easy and eloquent in their live streams. And, they have dozens of viewers. We would like to be fast, happy, and shiny. It has to be perfect.
In this video, I show you how you can keep a relaxed mindset when going live. I review what causes our fear and that there is more to living our life than survive. I explain how to overcome the terror barrier with the right mindset. I show a visualization method on how to start into every live stream with speed, confidence, and ease.
It is just perception. Your perception controls what you become aware of in your environment and how you choose to see it. And you always have the choice of what to focus on. During my LIVE broadcasting journey, I found these *𝟏𝟎 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐬* that can encourage you to go LIVE after all:

There are so many limiting beliefs when we are going live like: I am not sure of what to say, I might look incompetent, I don’t master the technology, Judgements from others, or I do not have the time. It is just your perception, and you can change it. Working on your mindset helps you to change your perception and picture from within.
To guide you through every live event with ease and confidence, you can train your memory with some simple techniques. Use visualization based on a story, especially on how to start into your live moderation. This will bring you over the bump, and make you jump into the new waters. Just like swimming, you can only learn to speak in a live situation by doing it. It is a lot about the practice that will become a habit with repetition. This will open you up for the moment, reaching your audience and speaking your truth in a new way.
